The Sneaker Shack Honeydew

I went there with shoes which were admittedly aged, My request, however, was to bring some color back to them. I conceded that the stains would still be visible and i didn't mind at all. In fact it was clearly mentioned on my notes in my slip. The employee in charge of dying shoes, who is one of the most unreliable people one can meet, went at length to convince me that i should dye the shoes dark blue. Of which he did - absolutely horribly. The man left spots of Dye on the shoelaces too... Was it so difficult to undo them? He left large details of the previous color on the shoes - the reason why i wanted the previous colour is to mitigate that sort of thing. How's it even possible for me to come to an establishment with low expectations, but somehow leave with lower results? And mind you, about 4-6 months later, my shoes are not with me. I assume he messed them up totally and hid everything under the rug. Imagine the horrors that guy does with a cup of coffee???????!!!! - Victor Moni

Was told shoe's will be ready on Thursday which when I arrived it was still dirty Was told it will be sorted come on Friday when I arrived on Friday it still was not clean for the price youll charge and pathetic service I will advise no one to use youll definitely will never use your service again

Geez those were white cloth sneakers that were basically worn once for a school sports day in dusty grounds - and you could hardly get them white again - those were not even stained. What was annoying was the lady asking if they looked fine when she could see they looked really bad - but it was my daughter competitions the next day, so I was left without an option but to take them. They looked like they were washed in dirty water honestly.

I was surprised to see that my shoe was listed as having a tear in the collection email I received, something I disproved upon collection. Not the first time that such incorrect damages have been listed and this would make it difficult for customers to disprove such, should such damages be incurred by Sneaker Shack. The female staff member (it says I was served by a Thapelo though?) made me feel uncomfortable when I checked my shoes in and presented my MINI R100 off voucher, saying that “vouchers have been returned” and that she will have to call the store owner, who told her that my voucher should indeed be accepted. When I enquired about the 35% off offer for MINI drivers offer card on the counter, she told me that she knows nothing about it (even though it is displayed there) and that it must surely be expired by now, yet I showed her that it is still indeed valid until 31 August! Train your staff members and familiarise each and every one of them on all current offers and promotions by Sneaker Shack please.

Sneakers were cleaned perfectly. Staff were very friendly so all in all a great experience. Thanks Team
