10 out of 10. Laundry folded so nice you’d think they did it twice

I drive 4 miles out of my way, back to my old neighborhood, to use this laundromat. It is family owned, with a friendly atmosphere. There is very little humidity in the large area with ample machines. They have coin machines for quarters that take $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. They will do the work for you, and minor tailoring is available for hemming.

This is the absolute best laundromat I've ever been to. The machines may be somewhat expensive, but they are large, fast and clean. The atmosphere is friendly, there are tons of comfy couches, free wifi and even a pool table! I've also used their wash and fold service which is great! They fold all your laundry and wrap them up in sorted packages if you're extra lazy some weeks ;) The owner, Frank is extremely helpful and friendly! Would recommend to anyone living in Uptown area!!!!

Have to love this laundromat, they got the TV's like the usual, but these guys have a pool table!!!!! the owner is local and he works in the store and it makes it more personable, he checks in on you to make sure everything is working good. Also, they have all the needs you could ask for, the usual washer and dryers but they also do dry cleaning for you to!

Fair prices (but I don't know about prices charged for dropping off clothes), clean general area and bathroom, and they have this used book shelf you can borrow/take from (which I really like). I don't care about the TV and pool table, but they're there. My complaints are that the sodas in the soda machine are always right near expiration or past (if past, the staff will give you your money back), and if you go mid-day on a weekend, good luck finding parking in that tiny lot. But there is always a staff person there to answer any questions or whatnot. If the owner is there and sees me coming, he always comes over to hold the door for me if I'm carrying a big pile of clothes. I feel welcomed there.

I cannot emphasize enough how bad my experience was with this cleaner. I needed a quick turnaround on a pressing of a suit and cleaning of a shirt for an interview in two days. They said no problem, come pick them up after noon the next day. When I picked them up and took them home, there were terrible problems with both! The suit (only worn twice before) was torn at the top button hole, where the button hole was now like a giant hole and there were terrible wrinkles underneath. The gray shirt was covered with white powder and stiff as a board. How do you even give this back to me in this condition? Nobody noticed? I took it back and the worker there (not the owner) reacted appropriately, she said they would try to fix it and she asked when I needed it, and said 8AM the next day. She said they would try. This was not assuring enough for me, so I went out and bought a new suit. I came back at 11AM the next day (after my interview), this time the owner was there, and he had the audacity to give me attitude for not being there at 8AM. Turns out I was right not to trust them, the wrinkles were gone from the suit, but the button-hole was still in terrible shape. Still gaping wide and was frayed everywhere on the inside. I asked the owner for a refund of the $14 they charged me. He looked at me like I was a jerk for asking. Keep in mind they permanently damaged a new suit, and screwed up in a completely different way on my shirt. How is it possible to even be that bad on two completely different things? I had to buy a new suit because of their terrible service. And all I asked for was a refund on the service, didn't even ask to pay damages on the suit. He asked if I would take half. He angrily counted out $7 out of his register and handed it to me. Seriously. I was civil to these people the entire time. I mean, accidents happen, but if you make an effort to make it right, I will treat you with respect. They tried to fix it, but they failed, and refused to take any responsibility. I took the suit to a real tailor to clean up the button-hole. It is no longer frayed, but the hole is still huge. Think about the buttonholes of your suit. They look like slits, you don't even know they are there. This one looks like a wide open mouth. Brand new suit. Unbelievable.

The place was clean, quiet and had a friendly staff person working there. Pool table and couches were a huge plus
