I can’t say enough good things about Lake Ida dry cleaners! Every time I bring my clothes here, they come back looking brand new. They pay attention to the smallest details, whether it’s removing tough stains or perfectly pressing every piece. They have their own in house equipment which makes the turnaround time quick. On top of that, the customer service is excellent. The staff is always friendly, professional, and eager to help. It’s clear they care about their customers and the work they do. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my clothes! Highly recommend!

I recently had my authentic German dirndl altered here, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I was a bit nervous at first (dirndls are delicate and expensive) but I needed it taken in around the bust and midsection. The seamstress was fantastic: straightforward, professional, and clearly experienced. She explained exactly how she would approach the alteration and finished the work even earlier than expected. I was quoted a one-week turnaround, but it was ready in just two days! This was my trial run with her, and now I feel completely confident bringing in another dirndl for alterations.

Hello this is an emergency my wife forgot to pick up her dress today from you guys…. And you guys are closed for the 4th we are leaving to Albania for my sisters wedding she needs the dress. I will pay extra please can you get back to me this is urgent I need it for the wedding.

Brought very expensive blouse in to have sleeves altered. Tried it on, lots of pins, agreed on what she would do. Blouse came back ruined, cut off sleeves short with none of the details discussed. So bad have to toss out. Won’t be back…ever.

I enjoyed the work of the previous owners. The new owners not so much. Pants came back with double crease on one pant leg or partially creased. The same thing with polo shirts. It looks like someone is practicing. I always received tip top work under the previous owners. They have to do better.

The alteration lady is a scammer, I paid $40 to get my dress fix and I was told if I have an issue with my dress to bring it back within 14 days to get it fix. the dress was still too large and brought it back before the 14 days. She said she’ll have to charge me again to fix it. What kind of scam is this? Please stay away from her.

My experience with the alteration lady the not pleasant, compared to my visit the day before I met a lovely lady who spoke very highly of her colleague. Energy was not inviting or welcoming the alteration Lady. I will not go to that establishment again.

Stay away if you value your pocketbook or wallet. I tried this place and got robbed, and yes I said it, ROBBED for my drycleaning. The bill was astronimical. Paid $12.49 for a pair of pants, $10.99 for a Blouse, and $22.99 for a jumpsuit. Criminal to say the least, and no prices were posted anywhere. This is a loss for them, as moving forward I will take my business elsewhere. FYI for All: There is no ordinance in town declaring that they need to post their pricing. Always ask before you drop anything off. I learned the hard way and will request pricing for all new Dry Cleaners I do business with before i leave the store. This is a Public Service Announcement.
